VEIRA Comp is a compressor with an oversampled tube stage, parallel mix and an external sidechain, built around metering that tells you exactly what it is doing: a calibrated VU, a meter bridge with peak, gain reduction and loudness, a transfer curve and a scrolling gain-reduction history.
A VU you can trust
The backlit meter shows gain reduction with real VU ballistics (IEC 60268-17), with the exact figure in dB right underneath. Tube adds the oversampled saturation stage; Ext SC keys the compressor from another track.
Every knob tells you its value
Threshold, ratio, knee, attack, release, mix and output each show their setting in its unit, so you can recall a sound exactly or read it off a session note.
See the curve you set
The transfer curve plots input against output in dBFS, marks the threshold and knee, and a live dot shows where the signal is sitting on it right now.
Level-match by ear and by number
IN, GR and OUT meters with labelled scales, short-term and integrated loudness in LUFS, and the OUT − IN difference in LU, so a compressed sound is judged at the same loudness as the dry one.
The last few seconds, drawn
Input and output peaks scroll past with the gain-reduction curve on top, on a shared dB grid with a time axis. Hover anywhere to read the level and gain reduction at that moment.

Tube stage, oversampled
The saturation stage is oversampled all the time with a fixed 49-sample latency, so it nulls cleanly and never switches in and out.
Sidechain and parallel mix
Key from any mono or stereo source, and blend wet and dry inside the plugin with the mix control.
Metering with units
IN, GR and OUT in dBFS and dB, short-term and integrated LUFS to EBU R128, and OUT − IN in LU for honest level matching.
